The Bogey Jar

This 8-part fish out of water dramedy is based on a true story.

Growing up in a small Minnesota town, Lester Luck is the greatest golfer no one knows anything about. His only scholarship offer is to a HBCU in Alabama, which he gladly accepts, driving cross country before he realizes Jackson State is a historically Black university.

Despite the culture shock, and numerous trials and tribulations, the Caucasian Luck perseveres to become the National Minority Golf Champion.

After his struggles on the professional tour the seasoned vet turns to golf hustling, which is where the narrative really takes off.

The first season of the series will also introduce the mercurial Blair Weeks and their mentor the unforgettable, phenomenal Freddie Banks.
